On January 5, 2012, Elle and Josh shared an unforgettable afternoon “tying the knot” here at Villa Siena.   Their magnificent indoor ceremony reflected the elegance of the bride’s beautiful lace-up dress, and the floral arrangements were stunning and unique, in shades of red, purple, gold, and green.  Bridesmaids and groomsmen made their way down the aisle, followed by the adorable ring bearer and flower girl, Lucas and Faith, and finally the beautiful bride. During the ceremony, Elle and Josh lit a unity candle, to symbolize “two families and two lives united as one.” They exchanged vows, and the room was filled with love, when, as a unique addition, the families were asked to vow, too. The families promised to take in the bride as their daughter, and the groom as their son, and all of the guests vowed to help Elle and Josh if ever they were slipping. This was certainly a touching moment! At the end of the ceremony, Elle and Josh made their way out to the tune of “I Got a Feeling,” as a prelude to their happy celebration to follow.   Congratulations Elle and Josh! It was wonderful to share in your remarkable occasion.

Saturday, January 21 Colleen and Chris’ closest friends and family gathered at Villa Siena to help celebrate their union. The day started with Colleen, escorted by her mother, coming down our red aisle lined with white rose petals. This mother and daughter pair was so lovely together! As part of the ceremony, Chris’s grandfather did a beautiful reading. It was a very poignant moment. Everyone was so happy that Chris’s grandparents were able to travel cross country from Florida for this special day. After the service, Jo-Jo, the maid of honor and her husband, the best man, opened the reception with two beautiful speeches. Jo-Jo said she knew Colleen was the one for Chris the day they met! Guests enjoyed a fabulous dinner and the party started in earnest just as soon as the DJ put on the song “I Gotta Feeling!” Of course, everyone was on their feet and ready to dance! Once the festivities were over, Colleen and Chris were sent off by friends and family amidst a shower of soft bubbles. We wish you both the very best in your future. Remember to always take care of each other!

Kari and Eric shared their vows for one another at Villa Siena on January 20, 2012. In a beautiful indoor ceremony with white petals heaped on either side of the aisle, Kari and Eric said “I DO!” Kari took everyone’s breath away as she floated down the aisle in a strapless dress covered in the most beautiful combination of ruffles and feathers on the lower portion and a gorgeous long train. This classic black and white color scheme was exemplified with Kari’s brides’ maids, who wore strapless black floor length dresses and held lovely white bouquets. A live pianist provided music for the ceremony, creating an elegant atmosphere. Once the party gathered in the ballroom, the bride and groom shared their first dance together to the country song “Then” by Brad Paisley. For dinner, Kari and Eric chose to serve guest at a variety of stations set about the room. First was a “chop chop salad” station, another station featured mashed potatoes (served in a martini glass, of course!), and finally, a meat lovers carving station was a popular spot. Congratulations Kari & Eric! We so enjoyed being part of your wedding and we wish you all the best in your future together!

Kayla & Adam were married at Villa Siena on December 30, 2011.   White garden patio chairs were wrapped in gorgeous black bows for the outdoor ceremony, creating a feel of elegance and sophistication.    Kayla was positively flawless in her beautiful white dress with a bouquet in bright violet and white.   The ring bearer was as cute as they come in his miniature tuxedo and special hairdo!   After the ceremony, and a leisurely cocktail hour, everyone made their way to the Firenze ballroom to celebrate with the newly wedded couple.  Kayla and Adam shared a touching first dance, and the rest of the evening was simply magical! Guests enjoyed their delicious dinner and dessert, and then were on their feet and enjoying the music. What a memorable and amazing affair and such a striking couple! Congratulations Kayla and Adam! We wish you many years of happiness to come!

On a warm Arizona winter evening, Heather and Tony exchanged vows here at Villa Siena. They had an unforgettable ceremony outdoors on January 13, 2011. Violet, Maddison, and Katrina were the three flower girls for this wedding, wearing adorable matching white dressed with gold sparkly shoes. Lots of twirling in the halls with these darling girls. Heather and Tony did a beautiful unity candle ceremony, which included their parents. As part of the ceremony, the song “Because” by Guy d’Hardelot was played in commemoration of Heather’s grandparents, who had that same song play at their wedding many years ago. It was such a touching moment. The outdoor courtyard was beautifully decorated with arrangements of white and pink flowers. The color scheme of the evening was mocha and chocolate, and the bridesmaids looked stunning in their floor length mocha dresses. Heather was gorgeous in her strapless, mermaid style gown! Once in the ballroom, the couple shared their first dance to the tune Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. During the reception the guests were entertained by a live band and everyone had a chance to get their “boogie” on! To wrap up the night, all the guests gathered in the front to send Heather and Tony off into the world through a sparkler exit. It was a night they will always remember and we wish Heather and Tony a lifetime of happiness! Congratulations!

On December 22nd, Paola & Amit celebrated their wedding day at a reception at Villa Siena surrounded by 200 of their closest friends and family. The entire event was filled with love & support with the blending of Paola’s Mexican heritage and Amit’s large Indian family. With such loving family-focused cultures, Paola & Amit were showered with affection as they enjoyed dancing to both traditional Hispanic and Indian music sprinkled with modern American classics. After dinner, the bride, groom & all their guests were entertained by Amit’s cousin performing a traditional Indian dance & was followed by a beautiful choreographed dance to ‘You Raise Me Up’ by Paola’s two sisters! The villa was decorated royally in jewel tones with peacock feathers everywhere including the towering white and gold wedding cake. Bridesmaid’s royal blue dresses were a perfect complement to the peacock theme! The evening concluded as Paola & Amit departed with a grand sparkler exit and rode away as husband and wife! Congratulations Paola & Amit!
