The bride had a sassy fitted gown with beaded embroidery throughout and a pink rose bouquet with white accent flowers. Beverly wore a veil over her swept up hair and a diamond necklace. The bride’s shoes sparkled as much as her smile, with glittering bows. The bridesmaids wore pink strapless gowns.

Luis chose a grey tuxedo with a white shirt, and white tie striped with silver. In his lapel, a white rose rested. The groomsmen wore charcoal colored tuxedos with ties.

The wedding was intimate with 74 guests invited, who were treated to the glow of two people very much in love. Butterflies are said to be messengers of the soul, which is perhaps why they were chosen to be incorporated into the wedding décor.

The couple shared a tea ceremony and a three cords ceremony, symbolizing the strength of the union of two people and their god. After the ceremony concluded, the couple brought more smiles to their guest’s faces when they took to the dance floor for their first dance: Frank Sinatra’s The Way You Look Tonight.

After the guests ate a sumptuous dinner, they enjoyed a variety of flavors of cake that included pink champagne with fresh strawberries and cream, a chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream and a coconut cake with cream cheese and coconut.

During the reception Beverly and Luis played the shoe game where they sat back to back and were asked questions by the guests. They had to show their answer by raising either the bride’s shoe or the groom’s shoe.

Guests were treated to favors of boxes filled with mints.

Congratulations Beverly & Luis. May your hearts remain as open and joyous as they were on your wedding day.

February 16, 2013 Lisa and LeeVon were married at Villa Siena. The officiant for the ceremony was a friend of the family and walked out with the groomsmen. The groom wore a tuxedo with white shirt, vest and tie. A calla lily graced the groom’s lapel. The groomsmen also wore black tuxedos but had red ties and wore red roses in their lapels.

Picture2

On the altar sat a bright bouquet of mixed red flowers. Bright as the flowers were, they did not shine as brightly as Lisa when she walked out to meet her groom. Dressed in a strapless gown with empire waist fitted to the hip and a gathered skirt, she looked stunning. Beaded detailing under the bust added a little sparkle. A simple necklace with a single pearl was the perfect compliment to the ensemble. With hair down and a headband and full-length veil, the bride was ready to meet her groom. By Lisa’s side were her bridesmaids who wore black knee-length strapless dresses with red high heels. They carried red bouquets.

Picture3

During the ceremony the mothers of the bride and groom lit the unity candle with the newlyweds, symbolizing their two families coming together. The reception was filled with toasts and fond memories of Lisa and LeeVon. The best man wrote a poem for LeeVon and Lisa, which poem spoke to the couple’s love for one another and his hopes for their future. The maid of honor also gave a toast that remembered Lisa and her childhood as sisters. She told Lisa how she always looked up to her. Lisa’s father brought some smiles as he talked about Lisa’s nicknames throughout the years and how she’s grown. He proposed a toast to everlasting married life together.

Picture4

All eyes were on Lisa and LeeVon as they took to the dance floor for Bryan Adams’ When You Love Someone as their first dance. Halfway through they invited the rest of their guests to join them.

Picture5

The wedding cake was a three-tiered affair with white fondant frosting. Each layer was wrapped with a black fondant ribbon. Favors were truffle boxes with one white chocolate and one milk chocolate truffle. The night ended with a traditional Villa Siena sparkler farewell.

Congratulations Lisa and LeeVon. When you love someone selflessly and with compassion you discover the most amazing love in the world. We wish you the best.

March 23, 2013 Crystal and Mike were married at Villa Siena. The bride and groom went to high school together but didn’t start spending time with one another until they reconnected through a mutual friend.

_MG_1647

For the ceremony, guests were invited to pick a seat not a side, a tradition that
is becoming more popular with modern day weddings.

_MG_9244-Edit1

Crystal looked beautiful in a strapless gown with fitted bodice and ruffled skirt. Her
hair was done in loose curls with fresh flowers in the back. She carried a bouquet of pale pink roses and orchids. As she walked down the aisle, all heads turned. Her bridesmaids stood by her side for the ceremony in pink dresses, each individually styled. Mike wore a grey tuxedo.

_MG_9067

Their wedding day was filled with sweet sentiments, including an invitation for couples that came with their significant others to reaffirm their vows. The officiant asked them to hold hands before giving the two some advice which included ‘love each other for who you are and not who you would like the other to be.’
_MG_0333-Edit

The couple took to the dance floor for Dustin Lynch’s Cowboys and Angels for their first dance as husband and wife. After that, Crystal and her father danced to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and then spiced it up with Lady Gaga’s Poker Face. They were followed by Mike and his mother dancing to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.

For table numbers the couple used words, such as Love and Kiss, to illustrate the different steps taken in their relationship and designate where people would sit. There was a photo booth for guests to create memories in.

_MG_9483

The wedding cake was a lemon curd and raspberry filled white cake as well as a chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache. Favors were pink M&Ms that were personalized with the couple’s name. They shared a traditional Villa Siena sparkler farewell as the night wound down.

HelWed-1389

On March 21, 2013, Basika and Benjamin were married at Villa Siena. The couple had their first date at Baja Fresh. From there, the couple’s friendship and love grew.

HelWed-1120

The
day of the wedding, Basika looked amazing in a white strapless gown with
ruffled mermaid flair. The dress had beaded detailing under the bust line and
above the ruffles. In back, the dress came into a dramatic V.  Basika wore her hair up in a bun and carried
a white and blush rose bouquet.

HelWed-1089

The
entire feel of the wedding was soft and dreamy. Dresses for the bridesmaids fit
in perfectly with this theme in pale pink with ruffles down the front and black
sashes around the empire waist. They also had white and pink blush roses and
wore their hair in various styles.

HelWed-1181

Benjamin wore a grey tuxedo with white tie and shirt for the traditional Jewish ceremony that included the breaking of glass and Kiddush Cup. The groomsmen chose black tuxedos with white shirts and ties.

HelWed-1301

The bride was walked down the aisle by her uncle. The couple chose a white runner lined with deep red rose petals. The altar was adorned with vases of red roses and white candles.

HelWed-1212

At the reception, guests found their assigned tables by looking for their names in picture frames. Tables had tall standing vases with crystals and bouquets of white and pink roses and hydrangeas. The meal was buffet-style followed by a three-tiered cake with Victorian themed white décor in fondant and pink fondant roses on top.

HelWed-1218

After dinner the couple played the Newlywed Game where the bride and groom each had one of their own shoes in one hand and one of their partner’s shoes in another. They had to raise the shoe that best depicted the answer. It was a great way to find out how much the couple knows about one another.

HelWed-1625

The day was beautiful and the couple charming. Congratulations Basika & Benjamin. May your friendship and love blossom with each passing day.

Danielle & Michael ~ March 17, 2013

Monday, June 3rd, 2013

21 p0419

March 17, 2013, Saint Patrick’s Day, marked Danielle and Michael’s wedding at Villa Siena. The couple met when they were young and on the same elite dance team.

5 p0131

Danielle wore a strapless gown with lace over the skirt of the dress. The bodice of the dress was fitted with beaded detailing. Shoes were ivory satin with diamond accents. She wore a headband with veil and pearl necklace. The bouquet of orange and yellow flowers added a bright burst of color with crystal pins for a bit of sparkle. The bridesmaids wore green strapless dresses. Some of them carried yellow rose bouquets while others carried orange roses. All had red berries as accents.

18 p0321

The
groom wore a brown suit and white tie while the groomsmen wore brown tuxedos
with green ties. Those closest to the couple took part in a 24 couple
precessional of Padinos and Madrinas.

15 p0222

Those whose spouse had passed carried a rose and walked alone. A single chair was set aside ‘for those who are no longer with use but are looking down from above.’ During the ceremony a memorial candle was lit for those who couldn’t be there, including the bride’s mother.

The day was filled with a fun energy. The guest sign-in table was covered with pictures of the couple - some with their dog and one with letters spelling out L-O-V-E. Seating assignments were found under a sign that read ‘You can find your seating assignment here but your place is on the dance floor.’

The day was filled with a fun energy. The guest sign-in table was covered with pictures of the couple – some with their dog and one with letters spelling out L-O-V-E. Seating assignments were found under a sign that read ‘You can find your seating assignment here but your place is on the dance floor.’

Each table had cameras on it and boxes filled with chocolates that were both the favors and table numbers. A blessing was given before the meal and wine poured instead of champagne, which came from an uncle’s vineyard.

29 p0486

The first dance was Wanted by Hunter Hayes followed by I Loved Her First by Heartland for the father/daughter dance, finishing with Rascal Flatts’ My Wish for the mother/son dance.

30 p0484

The five-tiered cake rose above a sign that read Mr. & Mrs. and they lived happily ever after. Half the cake was frosted with chocolate with a dark chocolate glaze drizzled over it and strawberries dipped in white and milk chocolate to make tuxedos for them. The other half of the cake had a white sash separating the two sides and was an intricate white fondant design. The flavors were vanilla, lemon, chocolate and carrot cakes with various fillings.

32 p0711

The couple had a traditional Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Danielle & Michael. May your lives together sparkle as brightly as you did on your wedding day.
