Stephanie & Elliot ~ July 31, 2010

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

Stephanie and Elliot’s chic pink and iridescent silver color scheme was perfect for their July 31st, 2010. Tall pink centerpieces with silver table linens, soft pink bouquets, a fashionable bridal party, and beautiful cake made this wedding one glamorous affair!   In fact, Stephanie and Elliot’s cake was almost too beautiful to eat! Darlene’s Heavenly Cakes did a wonderful job creating this edible piece of art.

While guests enjoyed the cocktail hour following the ceremony, Stephanie and Elliot had a complete photo shoot.  Elliot is passionate about photography and was involved in directing many of the beautiful photos taken of the couple and their families.

During the reception 5 different friends and family members gave touching toasts about the couple. Many guests were moved to tears hearing these loving tributes. Stephanie and Elliot’s friends and family shared in making their day joyful and memorable.   From the goofy groomsmen to the touching speeches, everyone made sure Stephanie and Elliot’s special day would be one to remember. As the night concluded, the couple left Villa Siena in a shower of rose petals as husband and wife!

Thank you to Michael Fragale Photography for the great images!

Andria and Demond ~ August 14th, 2010 from Villa Siena on Vimeo.

Andria and Demond filled Villa Siena with their theme of “Sweet Love.”  The reception included three cascading chocolate fountain and chocolates that matched the colors of their wedding: Black, White, and Violet.   Violet up-lighting and an elegant monogram illuminated the ballroom.  During the ceremony, Demond’s father was kind enough to officiate, making it a much more memorable ceremony for the couple.  Once the party had moved down for the reception, everyone enjoyed a beautiful meal and reception.  The cake was yet another unforgettable piece of edible art, sitting atop gorgeous black linen and decorated with accent colors.  Amanda Howard, their photographer with Memories Through Time, wasn’t the only one taking pictures to remember the event; the guests also enjoyed the photo-booth, which provided a terrific book of memories for Andria and Demond.   As the Jazz band, G-Force Phoenix, played into the night, we were very glad to have shared this memory with a lovely couple and hope they enjoy their long future together.

Jillian and Brock ~ August 12, 2010 from Villa Siena on Vimeo.

With a horse and buggy service at Villa Siena’s Tuscan location, one might forget that we live in a modern world at Jillian and Brock’s August 12 wedding! After being married in the LDS Mesa Temple, the couple retreated to the Villa  for a large and fun-filled reception. Guests were treated to a slideshow of photographs in order to better get to know the couple. We always like the chance to see a snapshot of our bride’s and groom’s lives also! Stacey Kay Photography had a fun incorporating the exciting Green, Black, and Cream color scheme into the photos of the event. The groom’s aunt is a professional caterer and did a lovely job with hors d’oeurves and we were all impressed with her stunning white cake she had made for the happy couple. Finally, after retreating into the night under a shower of sparkers, the newly-weds plan to honey-moon to Mexico, then to return to Utah for a second reception! We hope these other events go well, wish them the best of luck in life, and are glad that we could share a part of it with them!

Shannon & Jeff ~ July 17, 2010

Shannon and Jeff~ July 17, 2010 from Villa Siena on Vimeo.

Shannon and Jeff can remind us all that life is sweeter when shared.  They hosted their refreshingly upbeat wedding at Villa Siena this past July 17th.  We were pleased to work with such a fun and pleasant family throughout the celebration.  The entire family seemed to come together in company and love as they saw a bright new future ahead for Shannon and Jeff.    With a touch of country twang, Shannon and Jeff put a unique and fresh touch on Villa Siena’s European setting.  Full floral graced every table, as did the classy and elegant table settings included in Villa Siena’s Pranzo di Nozze package.

As the wedding party rolled in, the picture of elegance and decadence was complete.  The entire party arrived in Limos and busses.    Lasting Images created beautiful and artistic memories of the fun occasion, laughs and smiles spread from face to face.  The bridal party had even more fun with the addition of “Man of Honor” (instead of Maid of Honor) Alex, who kept us all engaged with his positive energy and warm smile.

After the guests had arrived and settled for the indoor ceremony, Shannon brought a little extra sparkle to the room as she entered in her beautiful, flowing mermaid-cut dress with feather and flower detail. Ok…..she added A LOT of extra sparkle!  As the guests and wedding professionals admired the beauty of this bride, as well as the warmth and love of her friends and family, we were all reminded that life is sweeter when  shared.  Congratulations Jeff and Shannon!  We wish you a bright future from Villa Siena!

Carly & Rob ~ June 27, 2010

Carly & Rob ~ June 27, 2010 from Villa Siena on Vimeo.

Rob’s Navy dress uniform, the tiffany blue bride’s maid dresses, and Carly’s alluringly dark coloring made for a lovely  June wedding.  Rob was only home  for a brief time for the wedding and a honeymoon in California, after which he returned to his responsibilities in the military.   Weston Neuschafer’s images capture the formality of this event, showing the groomsmen in precise military stance, and later the groom cutting a dramatic figure at Villa Siena’s entry hallway.  Carly stole the show in the picturesque, indoor ceremony, wearing a graceful and flowing halter-gown.  In one photo, Weston captures the party in a mock-ceremony through a picture frame, reminding us all to frame the moments that matter and enjoy our time with those who we love.  Congratulations from Villa Siena and we wish you a happy future!
