Angela and Michael, a beautiful couple, were married at Villa Siena August 28, 2014. For the wedding day Angela wore a gown from David’s Bridal with an empire waist and wide lace straps with scalloped edging. The gown itself was overlaid with lace. The bride’s hair was arranged in an elegant half up-do. The bridal bouquet brought purple and yellow roses together.
The indoor ceremony was made special with rose petals lining the aisle and a floral arrangement adorning the altar. To start the ceremony the flower girl was walked down the aisle by one of the bridesmaids. The bridesmaids wore gowns of purple chiffon with different style tops while the junior bridesmaids wore yellow chiffon gowns. The flower girl wore a white dress with a wide yellow sash.
Michael chose a black tuxedo with white vest and bowtie. The groomsmen complimented the regal theme of the day wearing black tuxedos with purple bowties.
The couple celebrated their wedding with personal vows they wrote for one another. During the ceremony a string quartet played. Afterwards, a reception was held in the Firenze ballroom. Tables were set with purple napkins. Three tiered floating candles with yellow roses and purple glass pebbles accented the tables along with purple and yellow candles.
During the speeches, the bride’s sister talked about how the bride and groom inspire each other to be the best they can be. Then the couple took to the dance floor to Shameless by Garth Brooks.
The cake was three tiers with yellow ribbon and purple orchids winding down the tiers. The cake topper, carved from wood, was of a couple dancing. Those with a sweet tooth were welcome to their fill from the candy table which was abundant with gold and purple candies, such as mango gummy bears, yellow chocolate balls, lemon drops and purple Hersheys and Dove chocolates. Favors were striped candy sticks.
The couple ended the night with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell.
