Candy Anyone?

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

More and more we are seeing brides add creative touches to their special events at Villa Siena.  Recently, a couple planned an elegant (yes candy can be elegant!) display of black, white and red sweets.    Guest were able to fill decorative gift bags with candies to enjoy  durring and after the celebration.  As a guest favor, candy is always a hit and most certainly doesn’t sit on the shelf collecting dust.   Enjoy the images in this slide show, provided courtesy of O Grace Photography.

Lori & Jon’s review of Villa Siena

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

“Perfect isn’t a strong enough word to describe Villa Siena!  You made the entire process so easy and stress free.   A guest said to me “It was as if they were all transported to Tuscany for the evening.”  Thank you all so much!   ~ Lori & Jon

“Thank you so much for all your help and input on Lori’s wedding.  As mother of the bride, I was really feeling stressed but you helped me to feel that everything was under control at all times.  Villa Siena was beautiful – all our guests commented on how lovely it was.  Everything went off without a hitch.  We were very pleased.  The food and service (provided by Villa Siena’s in-house caterer) were excellent.  All of your staff were great.  Thank you so much for helping to make this event so full of beautiful memories.  ~ Judi Friedman (Mother of the Bride)

Phone message:  “First I want to say it was absoultly fantastic.   Everybody raved about your place.  All of my concerns about distance and such were totally unfounded.   The place was always magnificent.   Jennie Dorset, the bartender that was very, very wonderful that evening and also Rhonda Passel was absolutly wonderful also.   I just wanted to let you know and for you to tell them how much we appreciated them that night.  Thank you!   ~ Howard Friedman (Father of the Bride)

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Alexis & Rob were married on Feb 19th, 2010 at Villa Siena.   This creative couple added many of their own touches to make their wedding fun and fabulous.  Especially captivating were the live blue fish swimming in lovely vases with floating candles .   Alexis loves yellow and her bouquet reflected her warm and sunny disposition.    The mariachi band played throughout cocktail hour, treating guests to some traditional favorites as well as some unique originals.    Justin from SKM Enternatiment encouraged everyone to join the conga line at the end of the evening.  Everyone enjoyed the fun!  We wish Alexis and Rob the best in their future.  Phototgraphy by Linda Wienandt at Champagne Rain Photography.

Heather & Jason were married at Villa Siena on Feb 13th.   The couple lives in Indiana, but both had family in Arizona and wanted to celebrate in the sunshine.    Jason’s adorable son sprinted down the aisle toward his dad during the processional.   During the ceremony, Heather’s warm embrace of the little guy had everyone in tears.  Later he recieved a pocket watch as a special gift and he studied it carefully looking for the “on” button.      Heather’s selection of pretty purple flowers added a delicate beauty to the entire event.    Villa Siena wishes this sweet new family all the best!  Photography by Anne McCarthy at One Fine Day Photography.
